Max was entertaining, overall this was one of the best HCL streams of the year (8/22/24 show), wild $ swings, lots of coolers. Max had won about $120,000 the week before by running good but the tables were turned
yeah hate guys like that. Totally fine with players who always rio but hate it when guys change their decision dependent on their hand. I was so happy when the J came on the river haha
@@DjUnk187 You are totally wrong here. Let’s say I don’t mind running it twice a lot of the time… but then I’m stuck 2-3 buys ins. You are saying I can’t run it once in a particular all in to get unstuck, and that that’s bad etiquette? I switch it up depending on certain factors, and that’s totally well within your right when money is on the line. This isn’t like the bad etiquette in fixed limit holdem where some are cool with chopping and some aren’t. Switching it up there is bad etiquette cuz the blinds are so big and a chop situation happens a lot…. So in a 20-40 LHE game where the blinds are 10 and 20…. Switching it up based on you having a good hand or not is very bad etiquette there that will get you shunned. When I used to play LHE everyone stuck with chop or not. Switching up once or twice in all ins is not at all bad etiquette. And I switch it up a lot and have never ever gotten an eye roll from anyone.
@@Ver5587 thats different. I specifically said „based on your hand“ If you’re stuck a lot and explain it to me or the pot is very small its totally different. Damn hurts when the turn seals your fate with the nut fd. (Board paired) Max proceeds to ask dealer to run it out just to see that he would of hit the spaid the 2nd board. Max pain?
This is why you stick to running it one time, Max damn near begged to run it twice with that KQ hand, even though he would have still won, but he didnt think he was going to win, Now when he hit the Trips 5, he only want to go one time. I tell people all the time, "Most people only want to run it twice when the beleive they are behind, and when they are winning, they only want to go one time
The two other players have a bigger side pot and they both want to run it twice. When that happens its usually good poker etiquette to let them run it twice. Ryan is telling him since Max is new and probably doesn't understand that. Max is a nice guy so he would want to know something like that.
Well considering Max is an absolute newbie high stake player, (from the look of this stream) telling him that he should accept running twice because the other two players have a bigger side pots and also asking for twice, thats ok for me to let him know about the etiquette
Max is actual good for the show. Don't want to watch a bunch of tightness with all pros that only generate big pots when both have massive hands and it's a classic cooler.
Peter always run it once when he is way ahead and twice when he is behind. The other players should run once against him when they are ahead, but they do not do that.
Idk why they even let mariano play, i know he a house favorite, but every single player here is a losing player, and theres mariano lololol. What a lucky guy. He just prints in this lineup

Max is a luckbox for sure! He's calling 3-bets with hands like A-5off and hits trips. He should have folded that hand pre and it cost him his stack in the end.
I don’t understand how the 75♣️♣️ lost to the AK♣️♣️ cuz usually when people call off like that they get rewarded… maybe they only get rewarded cuz they’re jus bad players and don’t know any better? And if you know you shouldn’t be calling that, you’re gonna lose the pot?
